1. How to start from where you are
Since I began this blog, much change has happened. Globally and personally. Amongst these changes I had lost my voice, as I was beginning to find it. Many times I felt like too much time had elapsed to cover all that had gone along since I last wrote something here. However the further we go, the more I want to share this life and journey so…….
Here are 5 things to get your MOJO back
1.Make a decision
Making a conscious choice that you want something different will spark possibility. Knowing what you don’t want can lead you to what you do want. What would be the opposite of what you don’t want? Think about what that looks like, feels like and allow yourself to be open to possibilities.
2. Ask a question
This is the natural next step, but this doesn’t have to be confronting. Let it be fun. Practical questions are a great start, ie…What do I want? What would be great for me right now? What do I want to be do & have, in the next 6mths, 12mths, 2 yrs etc. ? If these seem like “Big” questions, start with smaller ones….How do I want to feel? What would it take for me to feel that right now?What is preventing me from having that? What can I do right now that will help me to have that ? What else is possible?
3. Be Open
Each time we ask a question we often run in with our egos to answer it …. with all the reasons why we can’t be do or have what we want. What if we didn’t do that? What if we asked the question and let ourselves be open to receiving? A flash of inspiration, a fortuitous meeting, a perfectly timed download of information….
4. Kick the judgement and criticism to the kerb
Those annoying voices that prevent you from making moves are only spectres of dust. Remind yourself, you have made it through everything to get where you are now. Let that knowledge help you thrive.
5. Get started
Just do the first thing. Then do the next, then the next, etc. Take it one step at a time. Keep going and if you fall down, remember “fall down seven times, stand up 8”. Persist and trust that you are exactly where you need to be at all times & the next step comes to you easily.
I hope these 5 little steps are as helpful to you as they have been to me. Remember that everything is changeable.
